Build with Forge & RodiumAi Code
One RodiumAi account and one FRODI allowance for four ways to work: Forge on the web, and RodiumAi Code as a CLI, a desktop app and an editor extension.
CLI
Install the rodium command, sign in, run interactive sessions and one-shot tasks, connect MCP servers, schedule runs and configure RodiumAi Code from your terminal.
Desktop app
The RodiumAi Code desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux: sign in, work on projects with sessions, follow pull requests and CI, and connect to remote machines over SSH.
Editor extension
Install the RodiumAi Code extension in VS Code or Cursor: open it as an editor tab, sign in, send selections to the chat and use the slash commands.
Forge
Forge builds and publishes websites from a description. What it does, what each plan unlocks and how published sites work.
Quickstart
Activate your Forge & Code account, install a surface, sign in and run your first task.
RODI and FRODI credits
How RODI (the API) and FRODI (Forge & Code) work, how plans renew, how your usage percentage is computed and what happens when your allowance runs out.
Models
How model selection works in the RodiumAi Code CLI, desktop app and editor extension: Auto, the model picker, which models you see and thinking levels.
Troubleshooting
Fix common RodiumAi Code and Forge problems: sign-in, model list, allowance used up, payment pending, installation, proxies and diagnostics.
What Forge & Code is
Forge builds websites from a description, right in your browser. RodiumAi Code is a coding agent that reads your project, plans the work, edits files and runs commands, with your approval at each step.
RodiumAi Code comes in three forms that share the same agent: the CLI for your terminal, the desktop app and the editor extension for VS Code and Cursor.
Pick where to start
| I want to | Start with |
|---|---|
| Build and publish a website without writing code | Forge |
| Work from my terminal, in scripts and in CI | CLI |
| Use a dedicated app with sessions and project context | Desktop app |
| Stay inside VS Code or Cursor | Editor extension |
New here? The quickstart takes you from a fresh account to a first task in a few minutes.
One account, one allowance
Every surface signs in with your RodiumAi account and spends the same FRODI allowance, the internal credit included in your Forge & Code plan. The plan, its status and the share of your allowance already used are shown in your dashboard.
RODI is for the API, FRODI is for Forge & Code
The same agent everywhere
The CLI, the desktop app and the editor extension run the same agent core. Plan and act modes, checkpoints, MCP servers, skills, rules and schedules behave the same wherever you use them.
- Plan mode lets the agent explore and propose changes without editing a file.
- Act mode applies the changes and asks for your approval, unless you turned auto-approval on.
- Checkpoints let you go back to an earlier state of a session.
- MCP servers, skills and rules extend what the agent can do and how it works on your project.
